About this event

Event Background:

With a seasoned chocolate sommelier as your guide, we invite you on a sweet and indulgent virtual tasting adventure.

Boston was the site of America’s first chocolate enterprise when, in 1765, Dr. James Baker harnessed the Neponset River falls to power his Baker Chocolate Company.

Infused with a bit of food history, trivia, and highly engaging tasting activities, you and your guests will leave this tasting with both a lot of chocolate-induced laughs and smiles and a bit of food knowledge to showcase at your next social gathering.

Kit contents:

5 Craft Chocolate Bars carefully curated from Boston makers (20g-80g each depending on the craft maker)

About the host:

Like wine, craft beer, and specialty coffee has in the past, craft chocolate is taking center stage!

Anya Zelfond, the Founder of Gourmet Boutique has been exploring the craft chocolate scene from its infancy in the early 2000s to the chocolate revolution of today.
