Description

Crepes, a type of very thin pastry, exist in the majority of world cuisines. Let's talk about French, Italian, and Belgium crepes — what are the differences and similarities, how ingredients affect the taste, how to make and serve them sweet and savory. You will make two basic recipes for the batter, with wheat and buckwheat and learn many ideas for serving elegant appetizers, breakfasts, lunches, or dinners with crepes.

During this 4-hour class, we will make:

1. Italian: Crespelle ai frutti di mare, seafood crepes

2. French: Crepe Suzette, famous dessert crepes

3. Belgium: Boûkète, Limburg crepes with speck and sirop de Lliege

FAQs

What can I bring to the event?

Bring four 1-quart zip-locks or containers to take home the crepes you make during the class. You are also welcome to BYO wine to share with friends during the tasting of three flatbread meals at the end of the class.

What's the refund policy?

Two days before the class, I shop for fresh ingredients depending on the number of guests that purchase tickets, and I am unable to offer refunds or transfers to different dates. If you can’t make it to class you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or family member.
