SWE-KC Fellows host our annual brain-enhancing speaker event

(AKA “SWE-KC Talks”) on Wednesday, September 13th

“Bringing Technical Solutions to the Global Poor - 24 countries and counting”

SWE-KC Talks Keynote Speaker: Eva Szalkai Csaky, PhD MSF

Director, Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity

Dr. Csaky will discuss the life cycle of bringing technical solutions to the global poor, Including:

idea generation

solution creation

distribution and funding

sustainability

The mission of the Hunter & Stephanie Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity is to develop and scale sustainable and affordable technologies and solutions addressing the challenges of the global poor; improve the standard of living of the world’s impoverished communities; foster market-based mechanisms that create sustainable livelihood opportunities that respect the dignity of individuals and communities; serve as convening platform for business, academic, NGOs and governmental organizations, as well as a national and international hub for relevant programs.
