SWE Atlanta WOW! That's Engineering Spring 2017
Sat, April 29, 2017, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EDT
The Atlanta Professional section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) invites YOU to a day full of fun on Saturday, April 29. This is a one-day event designed just for you. It is a chance for middle school (6th to 8th grade) girls to experience the innovation of engineering and technology with fun hands-on activities.
Parents, we would like you to join us as well at our Parent program that will be hosted concurrently. You will hear from and network with engineers, university faculty, STEM experts and students. The objectives of the parent program is to educate you on STEM, encourage you and provide ways for you to expose your students to STEM and inform you of what to expect of a college engineering curriculum.
Girl Scout Patches will be available at the event for active troup members.
Cost to attend is due the morning of the event and is $5 per student and $5 per parent.
