Event Details

SWAY - the social gathering exploring social good - is back in SF!

SWAY, which stands for the SocialWAY, brings together attendees from TED, Davos, SXSW, RenWkd, and other events, to share ideas, find support for new projects/ideas, and inspire each other. SWAY quarterly series explores the inspirational work being done in different industries.

On Thurs. May 23rd, we'll discuss Shared Value: Global Good at a Local Level. Shared Value purports that the 'competitiveness of a company and the health of communities around it are mutually dependent.' This conceptual framework has begun to change the conversation around community impact (and CSR altogether), from the Fortune 500 to the World Bank. But, how can we work to better align business and societal progress to shape the community we live in?

You have been invited to this event because you - through your work or company, your volunteer or board service, your thought leadership - contribute to the concept of shared value in the Bay Area.

Hosted by: Jamie Gardner, JH Gardner Consulting; Kari Hayden, m.o. Partners & Olivia Khalili, Cause CapitalismArrive early. First come, first serve drink tickets.

Together we will sway companies, sway causes, and sway culture toward positive change. We hope to see you there!
