Intermediate Bluegrass Ensemble

Martin Gilmore’s Intermediate Bluegrass Ensemble has been a part of Swallow Hill’s class offerings since 2009. Each session the class learns four bluegrass songs and chooses two of them to perform for the graduation on the last week of the session. These groups have developed into regular jam sessions and even bands! This session the members include Tom Tobiassen, Elise Mariner, Marty Mager, Chris Paul, Alex Littleton, Chris Paulsen and Paige Paulsen. Martin Gilmore has been on faculty at Swallow Hill since 2008 and teaches bluegrass and Songwriting.
