Event description

Description

The festival was founded by award-winning filmmaker Bryan Martin, Antonio "Huggy Bear" Fargas. Together they've been in the film business for well over 70 years. Antonio, best know to the world for his role as "Huggy Bear" in the 70's police show "Starsky & Hutch", has a number of blockbusters in his bag of films and television credits. In addition to Bryan's writing, directing and producing acumen, Bryan is also one of the top acting instructors in Northern California. Together, along with the festival's co-founders Laura & Byron Damiani and BCMfilms' Matthew Silver, Natasha Dee Davis, Jerrold Robertson, Franklyn Cole Jr, Nina Khul, Ken Frost, Khala Hastings, Eric Martin and many more, this film festival is destined to be among the world's top film festivals. Only in it's second year, it has already proven to be worthy for your project's success.

SCIFF 2017 takes place in beautiful Sutter Creek, in the heart of the mother lode.
