Event Details

Historic Preservation Summer Series 2017

Sponsored by Chinatown Improvement District, Historic Hawaii Foundation

and Lyon Associates, Inc.

Historic buildings are tangible links to Hawaii's culture and history.

The 3-part series provides information about methods, techniques and resources to preserve historic commercial buildings. The seminars provide practical, specific information on maintaining and rehabilitating historic structures, helping them to continue to provide benefits to the owners, the historic district and the greater community. They also educate policy makers about problems and concerns building owners face and potential solutions.

The one-hour presentations will be held on the second Wednesday of the month from May through July at Lyon Associates office in Chinatown.

Presentations are free, but advance registration is recommended due to space limitations.
