Event description
Don’t all of us want to leave a healthy, livable environment for our children and grandchildren? We can be good stewards of God’s Creation!

About this Event

Please join Congregational United Church of Christ’s Friends of Social Justice committee on Sunday, September 22nd for Part 3 of a 4-part series entitled: “Sustaining Creation Care: Sowing Seeds of Hope.”

As stewards of Mother Earth, we are called to act right now on well known, doable solutions to save our environment from irreparable harm. The science community tells us loudly and persistently that in 12 short years—by 2031— humankind will not be able to fix the damage done to our Earth. Scary, yes, but there is hope if we respond to the call to be good stewards of God’s Creation. Don’t all of us want to leave a healthy, livable environment for our children and grandchildren?

In Week 3, we will learn about how sustainable lifestyles can provide hope for a brighter future for our planet. Each 90-minute program in the 4-part series (held on Sept 8, 15, 22, 29) includes a thought-provoking 25-minute video followed by group discussion.

A light lunch and babysitting will be available. Come join us and learn how YOU can be part of the solution!

RSVPs will close on Thursday, September 19th.
