Event description

Description

Indulge your senses as you experience the connection between music and food as each course features music for flute and strings. Andrea Ryan from Damoori Kitchen will present four courses of gourmet Lebanese cuisine inspired by the music being performed. Bright, colorful charcuterie plates mimic the cheerful melodies of Mozart. Enjoy different mezze (appetizers), the “journey of the meal”, as the music of the Roussel wanders through different moods. A modern twist on Fattoush (Lebanese salad) echoes the transformation from longing to peace portrayed in the Foote piece. “A World I Loved,” a Middle Eastern sounding piece written for Western instruments, echoes the traditional Lebanese main dish of chicken, rice, and vegetables – familiar food offered in new flavors. Please join us on this special night as we experience a delightful marriage of sound and taste.

Tickets to the event include a fully catered meal by Damoori Kitchen.
