The fifth annual Front Porch Republic conference will be held on October 3 in Geneseo, New York. The conference will explore sustainable localism and will feature a panel on the thought of Christopher Lasch and talks on Liberty Hyde Bailey, Richard Russo, and Booth Tarkington. James Howard Kunstler will deliver the keynote address.

Speakers will include Bill Kauffman, Elisabeth Lasch-Quinn, Abbot Gerard D'Souza, OCSO, Jason Peters, Eric Miller, Jeremy Beer, Robb Westbrook, Catherine Tumber, Jeff Polet, and Tim Tielman.

The conference registration fee includes lunch and light snacks. The evenings before and after the conference will provide plenty of opportunities for attendees to gather informally with one another, speakers, and FPR editors.

Seating is limited, so get your tickets early. We hope to see you in upstate New York in October!
