Why Sustainable Housing?

  • Developing countries including Malaysia have begun to comprehend the needs for affordable and sustainable housing development. The majority of the population is still aspiring for a comfortable, safe and reasonably priced house. Thus, the aim of the conference is to review the challenges in integrating affordable housing and sustainable practices in Malaysia.

  • The challenges are divided into four sections, namely market challenges, professional challenges, societal challenges and technological challenges.
