About this event

Significant events and transformations in global health, geopolitics, and climate change are reshaping the behavior of financial markets at an unprecedented pace. The topic of sustainable finance in particular is attracting increasing public and media attention and contributing to the global sustainability and climate change debate. In this context, both Switzerland and the United States are taking action empowering federal regulators to promote sustainability in finance. As part of the Swiss federal government’s policy, the portal finance.swiss was designed to bring together the latest information on the Swiss financial center.

The Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York invite you to join the moderated discussion on the latest developments in sustainable finance from a Swiss and U.S. perspective. The focus will be on the challenges of transition and engagement strategies, the definition of sustainable financial products, risks, transparency and regulation, and their impact on our society and the real economy. Whether you are working in the field or are new to it, the discussion and subsequent Q&A will be a great opportunity to get first-hand insights into sustainable finance from the following experts:
