Event description

Description

Learn to extract vibrant colors from plants while also creating a set of beautifully dyed market totes. You'll learn how to coax color without muting it and ensure a vibrantly dyed product with the use of mordants. Walk away with three totes you can use at the farmer's market or on your next trip to Barton Springs and experiment with more dye projects at home with your takeaway dye journal and kit!

About the Instructor

Rachel Denbow is a fiber artist and author that has been teaching workshops across the country for the last four years. When not weaving, she's hand-dyeing yarn to offer to other weavers, growing marigolds, and collecting avocado pits on the regular. She loves introducing creatives to the mysteries of color extraction!

Drinks & snacks provided.
Doors open 10 minutes before the workshop and close 15 minutes after we begin.
