Sustainable and Affordable Materials sourcing: Keys to Best Practices

Tuesday, January 27, 2015

FashionOpolis, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

A key element in the development of sustainable fashion is sourcing and financing of materials used in manufacturing.

Critical standards must be in place and applied to secure materials which provide consumers with the assurance that the brands they choose and the apparel they wear are reliable and authentic.

To address this fundamental topic, we have invited to speak on a panel:

  • Benita Singh, President of Source 4 Style (www.source4style.com), who will discuss the issues and solutions that are part of the sourcing of sustainably produced materials
  • Dave Sorblum, President of DHS & Co. (www.dhsandco.com),  a leading financial and business consulting firm company that provides services to the fashion industry

These two leaders will provide insights into industry trends and their visions for future growth within this fashion sector.  They will share their experiences in the day-to-day shifts that impact the apparel business.
