Join the Sustainability Collaborative for our second Sustainability Student Lunch of the semester presented to you by the Shenkman Career Services Fund. Josh Lasky, Senior Project Manager for the Sustainable Communities initiative at LINK Strategic Partners, and Steve Taylor, General Manager for Lyft DC, will host a discussion about prioritizing sustainability in innovative business models, as well as understanding students' sustainability priorities as consumers.
Steve Taylor is Lyft's General Manager for the Mid-Atlantic. In his role as General Manager Steve is responsible for all major lines of business and local programs in DC, VA, and MD, including driver onboarding and engagement, passenger acquisition, navigating regulatory challenges, and profitability targets. Prior to Lyft, Steve worked at PwC where he helped define and develop the company's venture capital strategy. Steve is the cofounder of District Ventures, an angel investment group supporting founders of early stage high growth tech startups, and serves as a Commander in the U.S. Navy reserves. He holds an MPM from Georgetown University and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.

The George Washington University (GW) Sustainability Collaborative seeks to advance sustainability education, research, practice and public engagement. It is led by Professor Kathleen Merrigan, former Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and includes more than 250 faculty engaged in research and teaching of sustainability and eleven GW research institutes and centers.
