Description

Get ready for a fun and interactive afternoon. If you would like to work at parks, zoos, museums, nature centers, aquariums, etc, or for tour and cruise companies helping visitors connect with our natural or cultural heritage this workshop is for you! Through interactive group activities, demonstrations, and presentation you will learn what it mean to be a cultural interpreter and the skills and knowledge you will need to be successful on the job. You will also learn about the Certified Interpretive Guide program and how you can receive more training to develop the skills to become a stellar interpreter.

This workshop is open to enrolled CU Boulder students only. Enrollment is limited. [Staff, faculty and alumni are admitted for a higher fee on a space available basis. Please reach out to see if there is space available]

Please arrive on time so we can get started and underway promptly.
