Event description

Description

Are you an entreprenuer, or an SME owner? Sustainability increasingly is a buzzword as the corporate world now talks more and more about corporate social responsibility (CSR). There is an urgent need to reassess and re-evaluate the activities we are doing as businesses that is causing negative impacts. There is a need for small businesses to understand that CSR acitivites is more than just sponsoring a charity and getting employees to visit an elderly or children home.

This 3 hour event is a session where we learn from one another, and from 1 or 2 SMEs who have started their CSR journey. There will be some networking amongst the SME owners as well.

At the end of the talk, we hope you would:

1. Be able to understand what corporate social responsibility is

2. Why CSR is not always a cost to the business

This talk is only for 20 pax as a smaller setting is preferred for quality discussion and networking.
