Event description

Description

Sustainable business practices is increasingly becoming a corporate necessity as more companies realise that doing good and doing well co-relates with each other. There is so much more about corporate social responsibility (CSR) than just issuing a cheque to a beneficiary.

There is a need for small businesses to understand that CSR acitivites is more than just sponsoring a charity and getting employees to visit an elderly or children home. Every business can contribute and get involved in CSR, even SMEs, and CSR can bring you business, if you are creative.

This nearly 3 hour event consists of sharing and learning from one another; information sharing and discussion amongst SME business owners. There will be some networking amongst the SME owners as well, so come with an intention to know fellow SMEs.

At the end of the session, we hope you would:

1. Be able to understand what corporate social responsibility is

2. Why CSR is not always a cost to the business

This sharing is only for 20 to 25 pax as a smaller setting is preferred for quality discussion and networking.
