What you will recieve: appetizers, 3-4 different types of sushi rolls, paired with different sake and cocktails.

Troy Ferris will be hosting our upcoming sushi “class” and culinary experience. Having worked in kitchens for over 20 years in every position from dishwasher to Chef de Cuisine, his knowledge in the culinary arts will be a welcomed addition to our event series. Chef Troy began his sushi career at the age of 17 in San Diego, California. Working under Master Chef Michael Ferrer, he developed his passion and skill in Japanese cuisine and love for the art of becoming a sushi chef. After two years of traditional apprenticing, learning how to perfect making sushi rice, sauces, tempura and breaking down fish, he was given the opportunity to join the line and become a sushi chef. He honed his art over the years, working all over California in various sushi bars, eventually working his way to Tennessee to continue his culinary adventures. Having 18 years of sushi experience, Troy Became the Head Chef of Nama Sushi Bar in 2015 where he currently holds that title, along with placing in the top 3 spots regularly in “Best of Nashville” for several consecutive years.
