Surviving Retirement

Police work poses unique challenges for officers as they transition to retirement. Many of the emotional, psychological, and relationship adjustments can occur leading up to, and continue well into, retirement. This class will provide officers nearing retirement and those newly retired with an understanding of what to expect and recommendations to enhance the transition to retired life for both the retired officer and their family.
