Survive First's Inaugural First Responder Ball
Event Information
About this Event
In 2019, 228 law enforcement officers lost their lives to suicide. Firefighters were over 100. Year after year, these statistics grow, outnumbering line of duty deaths each year.
Survive First was founded by Doug and Karen Monda to help decrease these numbers by educating departments and agencies on mental health in the first responder community, and assisting first responders and their families in need of mental health support. No first responder should ever have to fight their battles alone, whether on duty or off, professionally or personally.
On June 13, 2020 we hope you will join us to celebrate our first responders and raise awareness for the cause, while raising money to help Survive First continue it's mission.
With the funds Survive First raises, they are able to offset the costs of treatment for those in need of mental health treatment, but unable to access it due to financial hardship. They are also able to provide training, free of charge, to departments and agencies. Your purchase of your ticket will not only ensure you an unforgettable night, but will also save a life.
We are honored to welcome Orange County Sheriff John Mina and Retired Oklahoma City Firefighter Chris Fields as our guest speakers, and promise to end your evening with an outstanding performance by Hot Pink! It's going to be one incredible night!
