About this Event

Join the curators of Survivance and Sovereignty on Turtle Island: Engaging with Contemporary Native American Art, on a guided tour through the KHC’s new exhibition, on view throughout the 2019-2020 academic year. Bringing together sixteen artists from across the continent, Survivance and Sovereignty on Turtle Island interweaves the government-sanctioned atrocities of the past with the continued resilience of the first peoples of this land. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about the process of how the exhibition came together firsthand from co-curator Kat Griefen. There will be a short Q&A following the tour.
