Yes, there is a car park with wheelchair-accessible spaces located to the left and rear of The Arc (postcode SO23 8SB).

Is there general parking onsite?

Accepted Answer

No, general parking is not available onsite. However, Tower Street Multi-Storey Car Park (Tower St, Winchester SO23 8TA) is just a 5-minute walk from the venue.

How do I access the venue via public transport?

Accepted Answer

The Arc Winchester is easily accessible by train, with Winchester Station just 0.3 miles from the venue. You’re welcome to join our walking group departing from the station at 9:40 am. If travelling by bus, several routes (1, 2, 69, U7) stop directly opposite the venue.

Can I attend both workshops?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, the workshops run at the same time, so you can only attend one. We encourage you to attend with friends, club coaches or volunteers so you can split between workshops and share your takeaways afterwards.

I’m under 18. Can I attend the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you're at least 16 years old. Attendees under 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian. While not required, we recommend attending with your parent or guardian if possible.

Will there be refreshments at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The day will begin with tea, coffee, and biscuits, and we’ll offer a light networking lunch at 1:00 pm, including sandwiches. Please share your dietary requirements in the registration form.

What should I wear or bring?

For those attending the Women’s Health Workshop, wear comfortable clothing suitable for light mobility work. Otherwise, dress casually and bring anything you may need for note-taking.
