Event description

Description

Come hear about the crisis support services offered through the Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT), Well-being & Health Promotion, and Associated Students. There are staff and resources available to assist students who are struggling with financial, housing, or food insecurity and we want you to know how you can easily access these resources for students!

You will also learn how you can directly join the effort to support students by making your courses more affordable. Aztec Shops, Montezuma Publishing, the SDSU Library, and Instructional Technology Services have worked together to negotiate better pricing on digital course resources and to assist faculty in adopting free Open Education Resources. The results have been dramatic -- saving students over $3 million dollars! Join us to learn about the Immediate Access program and how these units are helping faculty locate and use high quality Open Education Resources; a case study with the Rhetoric & Writing Studies department will be highlighted.

This event is part of the CTL series Supporting the Whole Student. Lunch provided.
