Event description

Description

Presented by Grant LaVigna, LMFT and Margot Parker, MFTi

Suicidal thoughts are often missed, dismissed or avoided when someone we care about is tormented by them. Open, direct, and honest talk about suicide will make a difference. In this presentation, we will be discussing warning signs and risk factors of someone with suicidal thoughts, safety planning, positive interventions, and reducing the stigma of suicide. You will walk away with practical tips on how to support someone you care about who is struggling with thoughts of suicide.
