Event description
A webinar series to build a virtual community of practice for supported employment professionals.

About this Event

Join Project Relay as we host a diverse panel of professionals working in supported employment who share their expertise in navigating these challenging times. This project is delivered in partnership with Inclusion Canada and Canadian Autism Spectrum Disorder Alliance (CASDA), in collaboration with Ready, Willing and Able.

You are invited to interact and share your own experiences of supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and/or with an intellectual disability. Our aim is to generate new ideas so that everyone can gain from the innovation that comes from a virtual community of practice.

Attendance at all 3 sessions is not required. You must register for each event separately that you wish to attend. All sessions will run from 12:00pm-1:15pm EST.

Friday, January 29th: Supporting the Job Seeker During COVID-19 - From virtual platforms to in-person coaching, discussion will focus on creative strategies to support job seekers on the autism spectrum and/or with an intellectual disability during COVID-19.

Friday, February 19th: Supporting Employment with Technology During COVID-19 - Discussion will focus on how technology, including apps, can promote independence in job seekers and employees on the autism spectrum and/or with an intellectual disability during COVID-19.

Friday, March 5th: Supporting the Employer During COVID-19 - Discussion will focus on supporting the employer to generate opportunities for inclusive employment during COVID-19.
