The Little Hoover Commission (LHC) is a bipartisan, independent oversight agency to promote the economy and efficiency in state and local government. lhc.ca.gov In their Report #236, February 2017, the LHC made recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature regarding School Proposition 39 bonds. The implementation of their recommendation guides the focus and work of CABOC. LHC Chair Pedro Nava commented on our legislative Proposal 2023, “The Commission looks forward to reviewing any legislation introduced on this topic in the coming year and will consider potential support of specific legislative language at that time."
