Event description

Description

At a very young age children develop a sense of who they are and begin to construct meaning regarding their heritage, families and communities. Learn how to use collections, cultural artifacts and everyday objects to support a child’s development of a positive sense of self. This year's seminar will be done in collaboration with colleagues at the National Museum of the American Indian and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. It will take place in the National Museum of American History Castle on the National Mall in Washington, DC.
