Support the Kid Classic Car Show & Pub Crawl
Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
Santa Monica, CA
Support The Kid is coming to Santa Monica for a Pub Crawl and Car "crawl"!
We have *two* great events planned for Saturday April 6th 2013, and hope to see many of you at one or (ideally) both of them.
The Car “Crawl” – 10am -2pm (FREE!)
We have access to some amazing classic cars to display down by the Santa Monica pier. We will be located in the first parking lot just south of the pier, so just look for the cool cars, and beautiful ladies in Pink & Yellow bikinis!
The Cars -
Ghostbusters replica (if not booked) - On Saturday we can call it the Cancer Buster!
1967 Pink Cadillac Convertible - One of Support The Kid’s signature colors.. Just add yellow for the true STK experience.
1929 Tall Top Model-T hot rod
We will be taking photos and emailing them to you or you can take the photos yourself. Donations graciously accepted and encouraged! The best pictures will be featured on the Support The Kid Facebook (www.facebook.com/supportthekid) and Instagram (@supportthekid) feeds.
***You will also be able to buy pub crawl tickets ($25) for the evening’s festivities! The car display will run from 10am-2pm and the pub crawl will run from 5-9pm***
The Pub Crawl – 5pm-9pm ($25 Ticket required)
We will meet at The Victorian at 5pm to get your Support the Kid bracelet (if not already on wrist by then) for entry into the Pub Crawl and raffle ticket.
The pub crawl will be held down by the water on Main St. between Ocean Park Blvd and Pier Ave:
5pm: The Victorian
Next Stops->Finn McCools->Rick's Tavern
We were able to score great happy hour deals at all the bars which means good/inexpensive booze and deliciously priced and tasty food! We will be giving great prizes to lucky crawlers at each stop! So, come out for some great fun, drinks, food, and company and help a fantastic cause!!!
For those of you, who did not have the honor of meeting my good friend, Nicholas Wolber, founder of Support The Kid, please visit http://supportthekid.org/why-we-do-this/ to learn more about his story and this fantastic cause. If you feel inspired to make a donation to help children fighting cancer, you can do it online or in person at the car/pub crawl.
Hope to see you all there!
