With your help, youth musicians and aspiring Jazz artists throughout the greater Mobile area will gain valuable music instruction through master classes, mentorship, field trips and exposure to live performances!
In return, you will gain access to a host of exciting events and activities as part of an exclusive network of Jazz and Big Band music enthusiasts, paving the way for future generations of Jazz artists!
The Jazz Studio (TJS) is a young people’s program and a standing committee of the Mobile Big Band Society, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. TJS faculty conducts the development, management and execution of an on-going music education program, emphasizing Jazz and Big Band era music, for intermediate level aspiring Jazz artists throughout greater Mobile.

Mobile Big Band Society, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed to continue the performance and preservation of the music of the Big Band era.Regional band members play for the sheer joy of getting together to make the music, for themselves, for their "mature" fans, who have heard and loved it all their lives, and for the younger set, many just discovering the melodies, harmonies and romantic lyrics of the Great American Song Book.
