The 80-hour Supervisory Institute (SI) provides participants a foundation on which to build their future as law enforcement leaders. Instructors facilitate modules on contemporary and historical leadership concepts and applications, strategies to improve communication skills, the prevailing risk management practices, agency and individual ethics for the manager, and performance evaluation. Students are required to apply all the principles learned in various activities and will give at least one short presentation. All of our instructors are Colorado law enforcement officers who have served at command level.
Class starts at 8:00 am Limited to 30 students
This class is supported by a grant from the Colorado POST Peace Officer Training Project and is offered at no cost to the student.
