In this high-energy session you will learn how to deploy your class as a single team to collaboratively solve a complex set of challenges, support their conclusions, and define the sequential roadmap to implementation. Students will interact, reflect, listen, research, develop expertise, and brainstorm well-informed solutions beyond the capacity of the individual or a simple group while delving deeper into the subject than they would in a traditional group exercise.
Students will greatly enjoy working in supergroups, and apply this methodology at work when they graduate because it is based on the work of taskforces employed by corporations to address complex, cross-organizational problems. Your students will be attentive, engaged, in charge, and excited.
This methodology is fun, fast, dynamic, invigorating, inclusive, collaborative, reflective, motivating, and often eye-opening. A downloadable sample case statement will be distributed.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
• Describe how this new case-solving methodology works and when it can be used.
• Write a case statement for their students to solve.
• Deploy this methodology in their classrooms.
