Description

LEADERSHIP. RESILIENCE.

BEACH THE BOAT – NOT YOUR DREAMS!

A New Look at Leadership. One of the greatest challenges that Pastors have is keeping dreams alive for their congregation and for themselves. How do you keep your dreams alive – especially when criticized or insurmountable obstacles appear? This inspiring session will provide you with practical leadership skills to keep the best dreams and aspirations you have for your church and for your life in sharp focus!

WHICH WOLF ARE YOUR FEEDING?

The remarkable attribute called “resilience”. It’s easy to be upbeat when the wind is at your back. But what do you do when you feel that your career – or your church – is treading water? This presentation is based on ground-breaking research on what keeps individuals, families and organizations resilient in times of extreme stress.

Dr. Robert Veninga is Professor Emeritus in the School of Public Health at the university and an award-winning author. He has spoken to over 1,000 audiences throughout the world and has authored four books and over 100 articles appearing in scientific and professional literature. He is the winner of the prestigious 2012 Cicero award given to notable public speakers and is a member of the Teacher’s Hall of Fame at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Veninga is an ordained Baptist clergyman and an active layperson in his church.

“I can’t thank you enough for your presentation. It may have saved my professional life.” ~ Participant, Conference on Nursing Administration
