Super Sunday Skills Day
Wooo Hooo We are setting up for an awesome skills day at Forest Hill Park. We're going to work on technical skills and then head out to the trails to apply and conquor some of the Technical Trail Features in Forest Hill Park.

Skills to be Covered:
Course 1 Beginner Skills - Bike Body Separattion (front to back and side to side), breaking, ascending, descending
Course 2 Intermediate Skills: Cornering/Switchbacks, Logovers, Setting up for Basic Drops, Wheel lifts
What to Sign Up for: When you order a ticket below, you will need to order based on your skill. This is only so the coaches know what skill level to expect. (Skill levels 3 and 4 will probably not be used, however i wanted to add it because it's always good to get a refresher if you are an advanced rider)
Coaches: We have some special guest coaches that will be conducting stationary skills, then coach the features on the trail.
Jarrod Hamm has coaching certifications in is IMBA, Level 1 TerraMethod, Level 1 TerraMethod, Level 2!!! VA NBL State Champ 4 years in a row ('89-'92). Trail builder/ Proprieter of Sunup Trails which was featured in RideBMX magazine. Trail builder/ Ambassador for Timberline Bike Park, WV Cat 2 DH racer, 3rd place overall Maxxis GES 2015 Cat 1 DH racer
Robin Clifford is an insanely remarkable rider, she does downhill, cross country and cyclocross!!! She won 1st place in the Shenandoah 100 female single speed category, with a time of 11 hours and 31 minutes. She won first in Cat 1 GES Downhll Series races. First place expert category at Walnut Creek XC race. 4th place master's women cyclocross at the Ed Sander's Memorial,
David Gaske is an IMBA Level 1 Certified Instructor from Fredericksburg. He has 30 years of riding, has led kids camps, and beginner rides. areound fredericksburg.
What to bring:
- Helmets are required! You will not be allowed to ride with us without a helmet.
- Bike gloves are recommended. So is protective eyewear.
- Water and snacks.
- Spare tube and tools.
- You may choose to bring some extra pads (forearm, shin, knee pads for additional protection).
