Description

New Providence Baptist Church is preparing for their 17th Bi-Annual Free Giveaway to be held on October 7, 2017. We are in need of new and gently used men, women, infant and children clothing, coats, shoes and accessories to be distributed to the poor in October. We have a lot of men and children that attend this free giveaway. We want to make sure that everyone that attends the giveaway on October 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. leaves with a blessing of a free bag(s) of clothing, shoes and more.

Will you help us to be a blessing to others! New Providence Baptist Church asks that you donate your new and gently used items and bring them to the church on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for their One Day Super Saturday Clothing, Coats and Shoes Community Donation Drop Off Day (in preparation for their 17th Bi-Annual Free Giveaway to be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.)

New Providence Baptist Church will gladly accept your: new and gently used men, women, infant and children clothing, coats, shoes, jewelry, purses, ties, belts, gloves, hats, scarves, umbrellas, baby items, car seats, playpens, strollers, walkers, wheelchairs, bicycles, toys, and children books. *We are especially in need of men and children items due to high demand.

The church will not accept undergarments, swimming suits, wigs, lingerie, socks, bedding, stuffed animals, furniture or any item with stains, ripped, faded, dirty or broken.

All donations must be clean and in good condition, folded or on hangers. We ask that you please separate the bag by type (e.g. men, children, women) to help the volunteers with sorting the donations. We will not sell the items. All donations are tax deductible. You will receive a tax donation receipt on September 9, 2017. Please drive around to banquet door #20 to drop off your donations. A volunteer will assist you with your donations.

New Providence Baptist Church has clothed nearly 32,000 individuals and fed over 65,000 through this "FREE" giveaway with the support of Walmart, Forgotten Harvest, MGM Grand Detroit and individuals.
