Event description

Description

In a fictional universe, we explore the question: what if superpowered people lived among us? Their abilities – drawn from biological experiments, futuristic technology, and magical objects – create a new reality where humans live in uncertainty, or even fear.

In this alternate reality, a terrifying and deadly incident in Tulsa becomes a catalyst for a national conversation on how superpowered humans should be regulated, and how to measure their rights against the rights of the larger population.

What would you do? Participate in the Institute’s Super Powers Senate Game, where as a Senator in this world, you decide the fate of these superpowered people.

In this live, multi-player game, players deliberate, negotiate, and create new laws. Using interactive technology, participants grapple with issues of civil liberties, corporate interests, and national security. As a Senator for a day, each player must decide what is best for the future of the nation.
Recommended for ages 18+
