Join Kristel for a summer yoga practice on the water, whether you are a first timer or experienced paddleboarder, this is a fun and easy experience for all.

The meeting point will be the Lorraine "Grandma" Camacho Activity Center (35 Robert T Martinez Jr St Austin, TX 78702) and boards are included in the cost of the ticket. On the shore, you will receive a brief 15 minute stand up paddle board (SUP) lesson for an optimal and safe experience. This will include an explanation to learn the paddling technique. This class will help you work on your strength, balance, and flexibility.

After you have all your equipment ready, it will be time to embark on the SUP Yoga Adventure. For the first 15 minutes, we will do pranayama deep breathing and a warm up to help you feel acquainted with your breath to movement on the SUP board. Then it’s 23 minutes of set postures that are designed specifically to pair well with SUP Yoga. Followed with 15 minutes of core and balancing postures. We end the class with a 7 minute savasana and small sound bath consisting of 2-3 sound bowls. The entire hour-long yoga class will be on your paddleboard! I will be giving you personal feedback, pointers, and tips for your next class. Immediately after the class and meditation, we will spend 15 minutes exploring Lake Travis.

If it’s your first time, I will be your support from start to finish and I will take some good photos so that you always remember this moment.

Your muscles have a memory and they will remember what you do the next time you come to a SUP Yoga class, just make sure it is as soon as possible!

This is a great activity for nature lovers, relaxation and yoga enthusiasts. You will enjoy my own yoga teaching method. It is recommended to go hydrated and remember to bring a towel, sunscreen, hat, sandals or waterproof shoes, water and a smile. You can wear yoga pants/shorts and tanks are recommended. You can also bring a change of clothes if you'd like.

Kristel will have a dry bag for you to put keys and other items in.
