Event Information
About this Event
Join us the first annual Sunshine Daydream Festival in Austin Saturday May 2nd 2020.
It’s an experience and opportunity to get just outside of Austin at an incredible private venue, Gingerland Ranch. This truly Texas atmosphere will offer a day full of live music on both the main stage and acoustic porch stage, crawfish from Louisiana Wild and other food options. Kill some time over a game of cornhole, tether ball. Say hello to the local donkeys and goats who love to be pet and fed and enjoy an opportunity to wander around the 60 acres for the day. This event will be sponsored by Titos and Capitol Wright Distributing but feel free to bring whatever picnic supplies you’d like (including alcohol) aside from glass. In addition to drinks, every ticket comes with one plate of crawfish, but additional can be purchased at the event. We will have transportation provided by Move to The Grove Party Bus for a small extra fee. Children under 16 who accompany their parents will be free. This event is rain or shine.

Austin Sunshine Camps was created in 1928 by The Young Men’s Business League of Austin in response to a Tuberculosis crisis. Originally designed to give underprivileged kids exposure to sunshine and promote healing from the disease, the camp continues to serve youth living near or below the poverty line today. The Sunshine Camps provide the opportunity to develop leadership skills, foster friendships, and promote positive habits through outdoor experiences.
Friendship owned and operated - Gingerland Ranch is a 59 acre retired Texas ranch property re-purposed into the ultimate outdoor venue. Our creative event space begins with a Texas Style Farmhouse originally built in 1907. While we worked to keep the house original as possible, we added a few fun upgrades. Complete with a full bar, VIP Lounge, and wrap around porch.
Let your event pour out onto our manicured from 15 acres that truly is a blank canvas for any occasion. Mingle with our friendly resident donkeys Lucinda and Guillermo who watch over our rowdy herd of goats. We are conveniently located just outside of Austin. Spacious enough for you to spread your wings - and man it sure is peaceful out here!
