Sunset Goat Yoga at Magnolia Hill Farm

Join us for Sunset Goat Yoga, on our small farm in the Feliciana countryside!

Yoga, alone, can contribute to physical and mental health. By incorporating goats into the practice, it creates a new level of wellbeing.

Goat yoga is the practice of yoga while interacting with goats. Here at Magnolia Hill Farm, we raise happy, healthy Nigerian Dwarf goats. During our Goat yoga classes you will get to experience their playfulness and entertainment, especially the baby goats (called goat kids) who are extra energetic and joyful, all while under the guidance of high-quality yoga instruction! These classes are perfect for those who want to experience something a little different than your typical yoga class.

Although it sounds unusual, most leave goat yoga classes feeling uplifted and refreshed from the unique experience!

Reminding us to be present in the moment, this class not only helps the body with exercise but helps with the practice of putting life into perspective and the ability to escape the day-to-day rush. You’ll want to experience the class for the reset alone, especially in this scenic farm setting at sunset!

Tickets are $25 per person, per class.

About our Instructor:

Over her years in the profession, Lesley A. Barnes, has acquired a Masters in Exercise Science with a concentration In Health and Wellness through CALU. Lesley is also Personal Trainer certified through NASM. Her further credentials include Corrective Exercise Specialist, Weight loss management Specialist, Certified Yoga instructor through YogaFit, and Certified Pilates Instructor.

Along with her professional titles, Lesley is also a fellow animal lover herself!

GOOD PHYSICAL HEALTH: I represent and warrant that I am in good physical health and do not suffer from any medical condition which would limit my participation in the classes offered by Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any of the yoga classes, programs, or workshops. I understand the risks associated with the activities offered by Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga and I agree to follow all instructions so that I may safely participate in classes, workshops, or other activities. It is my responsibility to inform the instructor of my limitations before class begins.

LIABILITY: I hereby WAIVE AND RELEASE Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga, its owners, officers, employees, and instructors from any claim, demand, cause of action of any kind resulting from or related to my participation in the programs offered at the facility. In taking part in the Goat Yoga classes, workshops, or other activities by Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., I understand and acknowledge that I am fully responsible for any and all risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of my participation to me, my clothing, minor children, or my property. I will not do anything that I do not feel physically comfortable with. I am aware that these are goats, (although sweet and docile), are still animals that can weight up to 80 lbs.(goats), that poop and pee, with hooves/nails, horns(goats), and teeth that can scratch, buck, bruise, rip, cut, nibble, etc. I am aware that there is no retirement age for a yoga goat, so I may get any sized goat jumping on me at any given moment.

PHOTOGRAPHY: I understand that Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga may from time to time take photographs and videos of classes to post on their website, social media, and/or advertising. I hereby grant permission for my image to be used for this purpose. I further understand that Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga is not responsible for the use of photographs and videos taken by other participants and bystanders that may contain my image.

Refund/Cancellation/Postponement Policy for Registrations:

Once paid, registration fees for Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga class or events are non-refundable. If a registrant desires to reschedule his or her attendance, a registration is transferable to another Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga class or event, so long as registrant provides within 2 days of originally scheduled class/event written or electronic (emailed) notice of the desire to transfer the registration. Registrant's’ rescheduled classes or events must take place within one (1) year from the original class or event date.

Sale or transfer of tickets or credits is not permitted.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a class or event(s) in our sole discretion.

If we cancel or postpone a class or event, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the cancelled or postponed class or event to within twelve (12) months from its original start date.

Registration fees paid by registrants for a cancelled or postponed class shall be applicable to the rescheduled class/event on a dollar-for-dollar basis only. In the event Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga elects not to reschedule the cancelled class or event, registrant will be offered a refund. If this occurs, our responsibility is limited to a refund of any registration fee(s) already paid. Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga is not responsible for fee penalties or related or unrelated losses, costs and/or expenses registrant may incur or have incurred as a result of any cancellations or changes. Please allow thirty (30) days for us to process any refunds or credit changes.

Home on Magnolia Hill, L.L.C., Magnolia Hill Farm Goat Yoga reserves the right to change any and all instructors for each class or event without notice.
