Students Say:

“Each moment in the presence of Abdus Shakur is an uplifting experience, if you are not learing from his vast scholastic knowledge you are benefiting from his application through life experiences. Meeting someone so grateful and willing to share knowledge is a true blessing. He teaches everything from the complex hidden details within books to patience, and the vast area in between. Truly an amazing teacher.”
—Adam Abdal-Jalil Coburn, USA

“Ustadh Abdus Shakur really makes the class feel like family- a very personal and thoughtful class. From day one he made sure he broke any awkward barriers in order that we may benefit from the knowledge, through him, to the fullest extent; we were able to ask questions and dive further into topics because everyone greatly enjoyed the dynamic of the class he set from the beginning. Also, Ustadh Brooks doesn't make the classroom feel unloved, as in "this is the teacher, and below him are the students", rather he makes us feel like one - we converse, ask questions, and enjoy the class as if we're all on the same platform, even though his knowledge is beyond extraodinary compared to ours.”
—Reema Lateef, Student, USA
