Event description
We have a real special show for our season closer and you don't want to miss it! The FB event page has all the details

About this Event

At 3pm we welcome home Sky Miritello and Kahlil Jade to fill the woods with their etheral sounds as they weave stories with a depth well beyond their years ( they will probably giggle a whole bunch too).

Next, we are being invaded by the Leatherstocking District Pipe Band, who is an award winning Scotish pipe and drum corps.

After all that- Cranston Dean is a New Jersey native with an ancient New England soul. His music draws from Americana, folk, jazz, country, blues and pop to translate and transform the human condition into beautiful works of art. I did my last songwriter in the round with him and we had a blast! He's bringing his band for this one.

To close the show-

JIMMY WOLF is an award-winning singer-songwriter-guitarist who brings a new and exciting energy to the world of blues and rock. He takes the Delta-Chicago blues, 50s rock and R&B and mixes these genres with chainsaw guitar and over driven voice to create a soulful music experience.

Jimmy has toured with many of the great names in blues over the years, including Jimmy "Fast Fingers" Dawkins, Bill Doggett and Larry "Texas Flood" Davis. He has shared the stage with a number of blues legends—Buddy Guy, Jr. Wells, Albert King, Albert Collins, Johnny Copeland, Millie Jackson and Little Johnny Taylor. Jimmy lived in Memphis for several years and was a regular on Beale St. playing the clubs and Handy Park with bands consisting of Big-T, Jimmy Ellis, Fred Sanders, Jerome Miller, Ringo Jukes, Harry Bridgewater, Big Jerry and Levi Williams.

Jimmy is a Turtle Clan Mohawk from upstate New York. In 2008, he was awarded a "First Nations Composer & American Composers Forum Grant for Outstanding Performance and Lasting Contribution” and was honored for "Best Blues Release" at the 10th annual Native American Music Awards. In November 2014, Jimmy was awarded “Best Male Artist” of the year at the 15th annual Native American Music Awards. May 3rd 2015 Jimmy was inducted into the New York State Blues Hall of Fame at a ceremony held in Oneida,N.Y.

Jimmy is known as a “Local Blues Legend” in his home territory of upstate New York and tours nationally with his band, The Jimmy Wolf Band.

*****Hop City Hellcats are playing The Cooperstown Blues Express on Saturday night and if you bring your ticket from that show you will $5 off at the door for day of show tickets
