About this event
Sunday Press presents Sunday Supper, a dining experience that gives back. We want to bridge the gap between women in hospitality and women's healthcare. This is an extremely underserved demographic of workers who do not receive the full access of healthcare they need and deserve. Our primary focus is to promote awareness to those who may be unaware of this short-coming in our industry, but to also spread the word about the resources available to women that are provided by organizations like I'll Have What She's Having. The mission of this nonprofit is to raise community awareness and funds in support of better health in the food and beverage industry. This event will include a select menu from a different Chef each month. These Chef's are all women, and are among Houston's finest.
Sunday Supper is hosting its 4th popup highlighting French cuisine with Chef Lena Le November 13th at 7pm at Sunday Press.

Dr Karsan's quote: The program IHWSH has established represents the full spectrum of services that all people of reproductive age deserve, regardless of ability to pay. We ought to receive preventive medical care to keep us well; contraception, so that pregnancy is a planned, healthy and joyful event; state of the art perinatal and postpartum care to disrupt the statistics on maternal mortality that are a travesty for our modern medical system; access to abortion care, if a pregnant person and their MD elect for this choice. I am proud to help this hard-working community have access to the care they deserve.
Wine Sponsor: Wilson Daniels providing their Cremant d’Alsace Brut Reserve
