Join circle facilitator and sleep therapist Risa Gabrielle for a soothing winter rest circle. This circle combines two things most of us are craving at this time of year: a gentle space to share and be witnessed, and a guided moment of deep rest to settle the nervous system. It’s a quiet, supportive gathering where you can speak if you want to, listen if you prefer and sink into stillness with a restorative rest practice as we close the weekend together.
December is often the busiest month of the year, full of pressure, plans and expectation — yet it goes against what our physiology is built for. Winter is a season of slowing down, conserving energy and turning inward. While the world speeds up, our bodies quietly ask for softness, warmth and a gentler pace. This session is an invitation to honour that need. To step out of the rush, soothe an overstimulated system and reclaim a moment of calm in the middle of this hectic season.
We’ll move gently between reflection, optional sharing and a restful guided practice designed to downshift your system. A sharing circle is a gentle, guided space where you can speak (only if you want to) be witnessed without judgement and connect with others.
Come as you are — cosy clothes, blankets and pillows, tea and a journal/something to write with — and end your Sunday feeling steadier, softer and more grounded and ready to take on what this season holds.
