Event description
Join me every Sunday for a guided deep stretching and sound meditation journey to get the body and mind ready for the week ahead

About this event

Hi everyone! I have moved this to an in-person format as the sounds and vibrations are felt better in person than over Zoom. The classes will be held at Alexandra Park most Sunday nights at 6:30-7:30pm PST to help calm the body and mind and to help face the week ahead with a smile. You will be able to watch some beautiful summer sunsets at the park after class as the park has gorgeous views of English bay.

The class will begin with gentle stretch followed by a guided sound meditation journey to relax the body, mind and soul. Please bring a mat to lay on and a blanket if you get cold.

Sound meditation is one of my favourite ways to relax and unwind at the end of a long day. I incorporate crystal singing bowls, Tibetan sound bowls, kalimba, chimes, ocean drum and other musical instruments in the meditation classes to enhance the relaxation experience and help you transcend into a higher state of bliss!

Some of the known benefits of the vibrations created by sound are:

• Reducing anxiety

• Calming parasympathetic nervous system(fight/flight mode)

• Reducing anger, tension and stress

• Improving sleep and reducing fatigue

Due to current COVID-19 pandemic situation, I want to help as many people as possible and I am offering it for free/by donation. This event will held at Alexandra park most Sunday evening

**Suggested donation - CAD$10-15. I also accept cash or etransfer to nirvanamiwellness@gmail.com
