Description

Award-winning actress and music artist Angela Wildflower, best known for her performance as Mary Wells in Motown The Musical on Broadway, performs at Central Library. Hear selections made great by Sam Cooke, Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé, among others including some original music of Ms. Wildflower.

Wildflower was also a featured singer for three-time Tony winner & Broadway legend Hinton Battle (Osaka, Japan), Venice The Musical (Public Theatre), October Sky (The Old Globe), Crowns (Pasadena Playhouse) & many more. She has also made television appearances on Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien shows. This summer, Wildflower makes her feature film debut in Roxanne, Roxanne, which revolves around the life of legendary Queens rapper Roxanne Shante.





Tickets Purchase Policy

Queens Library programs are a free to the public. In order to make the programs available to the most number of people we are limiting general admission free tickets to 2 per individual. Multiple orders per individual are not allowed and will be cancelled. This policy ensures that no-shows are reduced and tickets are available to the most number of people.
