10 AM - 5 PM
Corner House Café
Always a special treat. Stop into the Corner House Café for a really great cup or coffee, specialty soda, craft beer or organic wine. Here you will also find lots of information on the lifestyle and amenities that make Summers Corner so unique.

Model Home Tour
Tour the six different model homes by Summers Corner’s builder partners Dan Ryan Builders, Eastwood Homes, FrontDoor Communities and Sabal Homes. Builder representatives will be available to answer questions about the homes of Summers Corner.
Live Music
10 AM to 4 PM
The Bushels take the stage from 10 AM to 1 PM. Bluegrass band with country, soul, rock, and jazz influences. The afternoon crowd will enjoy the sounds of Minimum Wage 1 PM to 4 PM. A fun band whose set lists includes R&B, reggae, cajun, calypso, alternative, rock, blues, and original tunes.
Food Trucks
10 AM to 4 PM
Featuring two local favorites: Roti Rolls is a farm to truck concept. They buy fresh, local ingredients from South Carolina purveyors so your roti is the freshest around! Short Grain takes you along for the ride on their daily culinary adventures and untraditional take on Japanese fare. Arigato ya'll.

Just in time for spring! Our neighbors at Stacks Nursery will have a variety of plants available for purchase.

Canoe and Kayak Excursions at Buffalo Lake
Join Nature Adventures Outfitters on hourly “mini excursions” of Buffalo Lake. Instruction will be available for beginners, and experienced paddlers are welcome to bring their own equipment (fishing poles, too!)
First group launches at 11 AM. Last group launces at 3 PM.

Ask a Master Gardener
The Clemson Extension Tri-County Master Gardeners will also host a booth during the party collecting soil samples and answering participants’ gardening questions.

Shop their high-quality tools, gear, equipment & apparel for women farmers & gardeners.

Growing & Cooking with Herbs Class
Learn how to grow your own herbs and spices, and sample kitchen-tested recipes at this interactive class, which will be offered twice. Sara C. Davis of The Clemson Extension Tri County Master Gardeners will also demonstrate a simple, herb garden-inspired gift guests can make to give. Seating is limited, advance online registration is suggested.
11 AM and 1 PM
Kids Yoga Classes
Youngsters can participate in an outdoor children’s yoga class led by the Summerville YMCA. No equipment necessary.
2 PM - 4 PM
Meet the Sand Hill Elementary School Principal
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Wally Baird, new principal of Sand Hill Elementary, to the neighborhood. Dr. Baird leads with a "kids first" focus, and his enthusiasm for our new school is evident. Dr. Baird is in his 19th year of education, and has deep roots here – he is a graduate of Summerville High School and Charleston Southern University. He received his Master of Education degree in Administration from The Citadel, and received a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southern University.

Do I need to RSVP or bring my printed ticket to enjoy the event?
No. The event is open and free to everyone. However, please note that some of the classes and activities are limited due to space. So registration online in advance is suggested for those activities. See below or click the register button for details.
What types of items can be purchased at the event?
Food, drinks, plants, flowers and gardening accessories.
What types of homes will I be able to tour?
Summers Corner has four builder partners: Dan Ryan, Eastwood Homes, FrontDoor Communities and Sabal Homes. You will have the opportunity to tour six different model homes and builder representatives will be available to answer any questions.
What is the Growing & Cooking with Herbs Class? 11 AM and 2 PM
Join the Clemson Extension Tri-County Master Gardeners foa special gardening class, “Growing & Cooking with Herbs”. Master Gardener, Sara C. Davis, will share how to grow your own herbs and spices for culinary adventures in the kitchen! She will share the differences between herbs and spices, which herbs complement which foods and will have easy, kitchen-tested recipes for participants to sample! She will also demonstrate a simple, herb garden inspired gift you can make to give! This fun, interactive class will be held at 11 am and 2 pm on March 12 at Summers Corner. The Tri-County Master Gardeners will also host an “Ask A Master Gardener” event during the Summers Corner Home and Garden Party where they will collect soil samples, answer gardening questions and sell gardening books and publications to help your garden grow!
Do I need to bring a yoga mat for the Kids Yoga Class? 11 AM and 1 PM
No. The Summerville YMCA will have all the equipment needed and will be leading the class. Just bring your little one for a fun outdoor yoga experience. Classes will be held on the lawn at 11 AM and 1 PM. Click the registration button to reserve your seat.
Do I need to bring my own canoe or kayak to paddle out on Buffalo Lake? 11 AM to 3 PM
No. Nature Adventures Outfitters will be offering mini Buffalo Lake excursions and will be prepared with canoes, kayaks and lifejackets. Excursions begin on the hour starting at 11 AM with last launch at 3 pm. Instructions will be included, so this is the perfect introduction to the sport for beginners.
If you are an experienced paddler, please feel free to bring your own equipment and enjoy the lake for as long as you like. It's a great place for fishing too.
