Summer Up North
Event Information
Description
The Buckle Farm and Uncommon Feasts are thrilled to invite you to "Summer Up North" - our first annual celebration of the summer bounty of New England!
Buckle Farm will open its gates to those who would like to camp under the brilliant Maine stars for the entire weekend, or you are welcome to join us just for the culminating banquet on Saturday evening!
Drawing entirely from the wealth of organic produce and sustainably raised animals of Buckle Farm - and many of its neighbors - Uncommon Feasts will fill the Saturday evening feast with courses of dishes exploding with the flavors and aromas of the summer harvest. The likes of Mystic Brewery, Olmstead Wine Company, and Shacksbury Cider will be working with Uncommon Feasts to provide beverage pairings curated to our menu - and joining us as co-hosts of the event!
Menu:
appetizers:
salumi platter
stuffed and fried squash blossoms
rainbow chard frittata
platters of carefully prepared farm vegetables
pickled vegetables
family style dinner:

We will greet Sunday morning with more of the best of the Northern Summer - unzip your tent to the smell of coffee brewing, to fresh eggs, to just-picked berries, and still-warm milk . . . menu to come!
