Description

Summer Solstice Labyrinth Celebration

June 21st, 2017 @ 6:30 – 8:30 pm

The Summer Solstice marks the sun’s highest point in the sky and the longest day of the year. As the official start of summer it celebrates sunlight and in a spiritual sense, the awakening of consciousness.

For this special celebration you will learn about the power of the labyrinth as a meditative and spiritual tool. You will then have an opportunity (weather permitting) to walk the stone circle labyrinth, a 36’ canvas labyrinth which is a replica of the 11-circuit labyrinth of Chartres Cathedral in France. A brief discussion and guided meditation will follow the walk.

Join Laurel, who is a trained labyrinth facilitator, for an informative and uplifting evening.

As space is limited for this event PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – NO DROP-INS for this event.

This event is FREE with any donation to the Food Bank.

Bins will be on-site or you can make a small cash donation.
