Summer Reading accross Hillsborough County!
Why should I attend?
The purpose is to provide information and resources to agencies and schools (private or public) that provides academic enrichment or support to prevent summer slide and to kick off the Read on myON Summer Reading Challenge.
Who should register?
Any agency, school or nonprofit that provides summer services to children
residing in Hillsborough County, FL.
Registration will beging at 8:30 and the Summer Reading Summit prompty at 9:00 am
- MaryEllen Elia, Superintendent of Hillsborough County Public Schools
- Joe Stines, Director of Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library
- Emery Ivery, Tampa Bay Area President- United Way Suncoast
- And many other community leaders and supporters that will provide important information about Summer Reading loss and summer resources.

The Read on myON project is a collaborative effort to provide myON reader from Capstone Digital to all children from birth through 8th grade in Hillsborough County. The read on myON partnership is a strong group of community agencies that serve children and families that includes Hillsborough County Public Schools (major founder), Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative, United Way Suncoast, BOCC Head Start, Tampa Housing Authority and Early Learning Coalition.
